Tallgrass Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Shoreham, New York.

Tallgrass Golf Club first opened for play in May 2000. The course was designed by Gil Hanse.

This is a Scottish links-style course with wide-open fairways, false fronts on the well-manicured greens, pot bunkers, and the tall fescue grasses that give the course its name.

Tallgrass is a par-71, 18-hole plays to 6,587 yards from the back tees and 5,044 yards. The course was built on more than 150-acres of Long Island farmland, 

The course closed at the end of the 2016 season.

Chicago-based Invernegy, plans to install 125,000 solar panels on the course's 150 acres.
